2009 ANA Publications Award
goes to "The Centinel"
The Outstanding Club Publications Awards were made this year at the 118th
Anniversary Convention which was held in August at the Los Angeles
Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. Marilyn Reback stated in a
communication to Rollie Finner, Editor of The Centinel, on August 3, "It is with great pleasure that I inform you that The Centinel, published by the Central States Numismatic Society, has been selected by a panel of judges to receive the
second-place ANA Outstanding Regional Club Publication Award."
The Centine's editor, Rollie Finner, was unable to travel to Los Angeles to receive the award; however, he was honored to have this fine journal recognized for the quality of its material and presentation. "The submissions of the
board, club officers and authors have resulted in a superb publication.
Thanks also to Signature Press whose staff have always worked hard and
creatively to produce each edition with me."
