74th Anniversary Convention Event Site:
The Central States Numismatic Society's 74th Anniversary Convention will be held in Schaumburg, IL, at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center, located at 1551 North Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Our event site is located in close proximity to Chicago's premier suburban shopping destination, the Woodfield Mall.

Event Description:
The Central States Numismatic Society Convention is one of the leading such events in the United States. It features two separate and distinct major Signature Sales of numismatic rarities cataloged and conducted by Heritage Auctions, of Dallas, Texas. One sale will focus on rare coins, while the other will be devoted exclusively to collectable paper money and related ephemera. In addition, there will be a 250+ booth bourse area with leading dealers from no less than 40 states, as well as educational exhibits, club meetings, programs and seminars.
Bourse Hours:
The 250+ booth dealer bourse area, a central feature of the 74th Anniversary Convention, will operate in accordance with the following schedule:
Restricted and Special Privilege Hours:
Wednesday April 24 9 AM - 12 Noon
Move in and Setup for Booth Holders Only
Wednesday April 24 12 Noon - 6 PM
Early Bird/Professional Preview - $75 Registration Fee
Thursday, April 25 (*One $75 registration fee provides admission to both special privilege previews on Wednesday, Thursday and booth holder only hours Friday and Saturday)
Regular Public Hours:
Thursday, April 25 10 AM-6PM
Friday, April 26 10AM-6PM (Booth Holders at 9AM)
Saturday, April 27 10AM-5PM (Booth Holders at 9AM)
Admission to the bourse area is complimentary during the Thursday-Saturday regular public hours.

Professional Preview Registration:
During hours in advance of the regular public hours, two Professional Preview periods are conducted. During these hours members of the trade, as well as collectors, are admitted to the bourse to have an early opportunity to purchase booth holders' latest acquisitions or otherwise be able to do business with the booth holders prior to regular admission hours.
The periods are:
Wednesday - April 24 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday - April 25 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Registration for these preview periods may be completed in person at the event site. Professional Preview registrants must either be CSNS members or have an application pending, which may be accomplished at the convention registration desk located just outside the entrance to the Exhibit Hall of the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center on a walk-up basis

Reservations will be available on or after June 2012.
Cancellation policy: Reservations canceled closer than 21 days prior to guest arrival will be subject to payment of one night's room and tax. Please keep this policy in mind when making your travel and lodging plans.
If difficulties are encountered in making reservations at the hotel, please obtain the first and last name of the hotel employee involved and contact Convention Chairman Kevin Foley at (414) 807-0116 for assistance.
Please note that convention room blocks are limited and accommodations may not be available at the stated rate once the block is full and/or after it expires on March 15, 2013. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Once the block is full, it is full and once it is closed, it is closed.
Air Transportation Discounts
American Airlines is offering attendees at the 74th Anniversary Convention of the Central States Numismatic Society a 5% discount off whatever fare would otherwise apply. To book the specially discounted fares, access the America Airlines website at www.aa.com and enter authorization number "3243BM". Fares may also be booked by calling American's special convention desk at (800) 433-1790 and giving the agent the same authorization number. A $20 per ticket fee will apply to reservation made via telephone. No service charge applies to reservations made via www.aa.com

Future dates listed are for the bourse only. Security room and auction lot viewing will begin earlier, typically in the same daily pattern in effect for the 2013 convention, i.e. security room opening on Monday, auction lot viewing opening on Tuesday prior to the Wednesday Professional Preview Day.
